I’m finally giving the other half of Let’s Go Ride a Bike! her due. We’ve previously featured Dottie’s Betty Foy on this site, (over a year ago now). Trisha sent me her pics a while ago, but I go through lazy spells, fall behind, and then getting the backlog out seems like an impossible task. Anyway, I’m workin’ on it.

Hi Doohickie!
I got a camera for my birthday and finally got some good snaps of my bike, Pepe Le Peug.
This 1970s UO-8 10-speed, which I bought from Jon Grinder, is a gem and a worthy companion for my Batavus Entrada Spirit.
It’s nimble, light and so much fun to ride. Anyone considering the purchase of an old mixte should definitely say YES (especially if said mixte comes from Jon).
It’s the perfect all-purpose bike, as long as you don’t mind learning a little bit about bicycle maintenance.
Yeah, with any older bike it helps to know a bit about maintenance. I’m glad you’re enjoying the bike.
Interesting that you mention Jon Grinder; I have to admit that Jon’s recent comment tipped the balance and got me posting again.

I take it you took those pics from a tripod because the scenery doesn’t move at all.

Ah, it’s nice to have you back.
And I love seeing one of my babies all grown up and out in the world! Le Peug is probably my most famous build, and I am very happy that he has found such a good home, Trisha.
